About The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland
The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland is the qualifying and membership body for governance professionals.
We offer the Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications for International Finance and Administration. The exams are two sittings a year, in June and November.

Level 4: Certificate in International Finance and Administration
This suite of qualifications provides regulatory knowledge and skills of the offshore business environment and trust and company law.
Students who successfully complete the Level 4 International Finance and Administration Qualifications are eligible to become Affiliated members and continue to benefit from the knowledge and support of the governance and compliance community.
To gain the Level 4 certificate, you need to have passed the following exams:
- Core Module (3 hour exam)
- Accounting (1 hour 30 exam)
- Investment (1 hour 30 exam)
Level 5: Diploma in International Finance and Administration
This qualification provides the regulatory essentials of offshore trust and company administration. It will give you the opportunity to specialise in topics such as fund administration, financial reporting and governance and business management.
The Jersey Financial Services Commission recognises the Diploma as a Table 4 qualification and the Advanced Certificate and Subsidiary Diploma as Table 5 qualifications.
To gain the Level 5 diploma, you need to complete four 3 hour exams in:
- Business Management
- Fund Administration
- Trust and Company
- Financial Reporting and Governance
